From hundreds of dangling white roses and dramatic silk curtains to romantic lighting and a floating garden, the interior of Bobby Chinn’s intimate home now also houses his world-renowned restaurant. Adorned with his personal collection of furnishings and artwork guests will find that, although a famous ‘celebrity chef,’ Bobby Chinn has made ample time to perfect both the décor and his award winning menu. Favorites include the filet mignon spring rolls, green tea smoked duck on black sticky rice, and the tamarind glazed crab cake on chive flowers. A seasonally changing menu makes use of the freshest local and imported ingredients, leaving you hard pressed to find dishes rivaling these elsewhere in Vietnam.
The drink menu is exquisite, Bobby Chinn’s being one of the first restaurants in Vietnam to receive an “Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator magazine. Top-shelf spirits and a full bar of single whiskey malts deck out the bar, where visitors can enjoy an Egyptian shisha pipe or pre-dinner drink before entering the soft dining room. Customized taste testing can be happily arranged with 24 hours notice.
